5 Years after Allans birth, Gloria fell pregnant for a third time. Her due date was not until the end of september and she had organised a party for Karens 18th. The mid-wives advised Gloria to take strict bed rest and later decided that she should be monitored in hospital. However Gloria had other plans, she was adament about being present for Karens party and refused to go to hospital! She felt like she could not let her eldest down and her maternity notes show this! Claire arrived on the 5th of september, early but weighing a healthy 5lb 5oz. And yes Gloria did enjoy the party!
