In 1980 Gloria and Allan decided to move to Thetford, Norolk in England. Allans brother John and his Wife Doreen were living in Thetford, so they would be close to family and able to look for work for Allan. They lived with John and Doreen for a short time before moving to their own house on Mother Julian Close.
